How To Clean Your Microfiber Couch..DIY

We've had this pitiful recliner for almost 5 years.. and I'm always the first to complain how dirty it always looks.. I hardly sit in it, its the chair that my husband claimed as "HIS"
We have a daughter, 1 cat, and 2 dogs, so you can imagine the amount of water stains, drool, juice, food, and hairs attach to this piece of furniture!!
Today's the day I decided to scrub it clean, (even though I had a million times before) and decided to document my progress.

Here's the BEFORE picture:

Disgusting right?
Our parents always commented how much it needs to be thrown out .. I agree, but he doesn't!!! I guess once you claim a chair as your own , it moulds to your body and you can't ever think of getting a new one?! LOL men...

Here is the AFTER pictures:

Sorry some are upside down, my camera does weird things!
But look at that difference? The lighting sucks as well, and it's still damp, but that difference is HUGE!!

Here's what I done to clean this monstrous fabric!

What you need:
Water
Spray Bottle
Rubbing Alcohol
Cloth
Scrub Brush

1. Pour equal amounts of rubbing alcohol vs. water
(this depends on how big your piece of furniture is)

2. Saturate your fabric where needed.

3.Wait a couple minutes for it to soak

4.Scrub saturated fabric with the cloth, watch the dirt magically disappear!

5. When fabric is almost dry.. scrub with the CLEAN scrub brush, it will help soften up the fabric once it dried & went rough!

TA-DA you now have a clean piece of furniture!!
You're welcome!!!
