declutter
Here are 3 things to declutter this summer to feel lighter, more organized, and ready for the season:
1.
Old or Unused Summer Clothing
If it doesn’t fit, you haven’t worn it in two summers, or it’s stretched, stained, or just not your style anymore — let it go! Make space for comfy, flattering pieces you actually enjoy wearing.
Quick Tip: Try the “hanger flip” trick — turn all your hangers backward, and after wearing something, hang it the right way. After a month, donate anything still turned backward.
2.
Expired Products in the Bathroom & Pantry
Summer is a great time to purge expired sunscreen, old bug sprays, makeup, and food items hiding in the back of cabinets.
Quick Tip: Toss anything with a broken seal, separated ingredients, or a weird smell — especially skincare or SPF!
3.
Outdoor & Toy Clutter
Broken beach chairs, deflated pool floats, random outdoor toys the kids no longer use? Time to toss, donate, or repurpose.
Quick Tip: Set a timer for 30 minutes, and go through bins, garages, or sheds — you’ll be amazed how fast you can clear things out
